Strips down, rebuilds & replaces components such as springs, padding/fibre, webbing, fabric.
Repairs shaky joints in furniture frames and refinishes wood surfaces.
Uses a wide range of finishes including traditional French polish.
UPHOLSTERY PROS
Not all upholstery is the same. TVD has a focus on traditional upholstery techniques. This involves the complete strip down of the furniture & replacement of new components such as springs, webbing, fibre, stuffing, padding & upholstery fabric. The furniture frames are repaired if needed and then are skillfully built back up. The result is a new & quality piece that has been custom upholstered to suit your requirements. It is also a nice idea to know that you are preserving & extending the life of something, slowing down consumerism & in turn supporting a more sustainable future.
